* April 6th, 2007: El Cid - starting 9PM.
Los Angeles CD release party! This will be in celebration of the completion of my first album "Le Chemin", the result of over a year's work, and of my collaboration with over 20 musicians. The CD will of course be available at the show. It is also available at Amoeba in Hollywood (6400 Sunset, Los Angeles), and at cdbaby.com

March 26th, 2006: Updates.. finally!
It's been a while since I haven't updated my website, but that doesn't mean I was being lazy. I have been recording my album (scheduled for a Fall 06 release), a mixture of French chanson, gypsy jazz, and cabaret music. I will be singing in French (mostly), English, and Chinese (just a little), as well as playing the piano, the toy accordeon (for the French sound, of course), and the trumpet (my new baby.) My band members are Andrew McKay (guitar, glockenspiel), Gabe Noel (upright bass), Dave Wilson (clarinet, alto sax) and John Wicks (drums.) For the recordings, I am also using star performers, including Adam Topol (drummer for Jack Johnson), and Grammy-winning violinist Mads Tolling. More updates coming soon.

June 10th, 2005: "Fantastic" and "Pockets" published in Latin America
The 2 last educational programs I have written songs for ("Fantastic" and "Pockets") have now been published and are available for purchase in selected bookstores of Latin America.

I am playing keyboards in a new funk-rock band Gualberto. Check out our first show at the prestigious Viper Room (8852 W Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, 90069).

March 13th, 2005: " Jake in Progress " pilot airs on ABC.
Over the last few months, I have assisted film composer Daniel Licht as he wrote and recorded the music for a new comedy entitled " Jake in Progress. " The series, starring John Stamos, will be aired on ABC every Thursday at 8PM.

February 28th, 2005: Children's Songs for Macmillan Education
I am finishing up songs for an educational program with Macmillan Education. The program, which will feature a dozen of my original songs as well as a few covers, is destined for 5th and 6th graders learning English in Latin America. This has been a fun project, for which I had a chance to record some very fine L.A. vocalists and musicians.

January 15th, 2005: Jessica joins singer/songwriter Scott Aaronson for L.A. performances
I am singing background vocals for Scott Aaronson, a promising singer/songwriter based in Hollywood. His songs have been featured in T.V. shows such as The O.C. Check back for performance dates.

September 1st, 2004: Jessica joins cover band Cassiopeak
I am singing and playing keys with Cassiopeak, a cover band based in Pasadena, CA. Our setlist includes songs by Sarah Mc Laughlin, the Beatles, Bob Marley, Sting... Here are some pics of some of our last performances.
           

August 15th, 2004: Children's Songs for Pearson's program Pockets
I have finished a project for publishing company Pearson Education. The project, entitled Pockets, will feature 30 short songs and chants of my composition, all sung by children. It is destined for Kindergarten students learning English as a Foreign Language, and will be published internationally in 2005.
